Another Note from the Road
I can’t seem to get the creative juices (such as they are) flowing, so I figured it was time for another NFTR.
I’ve found that, when I get hungry, I do better when I can get an appropriate portion of food, and then get away from the remaining food. I’t not eating one slice of pizza that packs it on, it’s eating the whole thing and washing it down with a sixer of Schlitz.
To that end, I’ve really found that I’m digging the 100-calorie packs that are available at most stores. Most of them provide a taste of good ol’ fashioned junk food, in a small enough portion that it’s not gonna wreck your lifestyle. They also tend to mix some healthier snacks in with the junk. Just try to avoid the ones with a ridiculously high fat content, and just grab the one pack, not the box.
Yep, they are a bit more expensive than just getting the box of Oreos, or whatever. In the short term, anyway. I think they make up for their higher cost with the ease they offer a healthy lifestyle.
