A week in review
This week has been the busiest I’ve had since my lifestyle changes began, and I think it showed that these changes are going to work.
I managed to stay well within my Weight Watchers points ranges, even when eating on the run, as I had to do often. I even managed two days of pizza, which traditionally has been one of the weakest of my weak spots.
I also managed to squeeze in five workouts. Swimming, mostly, since my muscles really weren’t up to weightlifting. Still, much better than nothing.
Finally, I felt physically able to some demanding physical work. I think I walked around the Ford Center about 20 times this week, along with a ton of standing and one day of hauling boxes and pallets. Very worth it to be part of a really historic event in Oklahoma City.
Oh, and OU’s thumping of Washington was a nice way to cap a good, but challenging, week.

Sold out
The Select-a-Seat program is over, and my feet are appreciative.
However, as mentioned before, I don’t think I’m that much worse for the wear than all of the other volunteers and employees. I even found the strength to go cover a high-school football game tonight.
One more day of clean up on Monday, and then back to normal, for me, at least.
I’ll post tomorrow, to make up for some of the short, or missing posts, this week. I’m sure my ones of fans will be appreciative.

OKC Thunder
I’m volunteering at the Oklahoma City Thunder Select-A-Seat program. Lots of time on my feet and running round. However, I don’t seem to be any worse off than most of the other volunteers and employees. So, that’s something else positive that my weight loss and lifestyle changes have led to. It’s also one of the biggest (no pun intended) reasons I wanted to get down and stay down: The ability to do more stuff. I’m pretty sure I’d have struggled mightily to get through a long day with lots of moving around this time last year. Plus, they got shirts for the volunteers up through 3xl, which I can now wear.
